I think I need to re-award the guys at Fedora with the Simplest Server Installation Award, courtesy of NairaBytes.net. In about 3-steps, Fedora 27 Server is up and running.
Download images(iso) of Fedora Server here, and burn to discs:
https://getfedora.org/en/server/download/
The following are screenshots of Fedora 27 Server Edition. When your media boots up: scroll up and select "Install Fedora 27"
In the Welcome to Fedora screen, select your Language option and click CONTINUE. Its nice to see "Ede Yoruba" representing alphabetically under "English".
The next screen is the installation summary. It provides an interface to select a keyboard type, time&date, language, etc. To make changes, double-click on the icons one by one, and select your desired options.
Click to "BEGIN INSTALLATION".
Installation source = Local Media
Software selection = Fedora Server selection
Installation destination = select hard disk(check mark) and automatic partitioning.
In the next screen, 'Configuration', you can set the user and root passwords.

The good thing I observe is that at the configuration screen above, installation has already started. After installation, the below is displayed. Click REBOOT after installation.
The best part is that it comes with a default install of Cockpit which makes access to the server pretty simple. Server is accessible via http://server-ip-address:9090
